Group Activity: 5 groups will support reality for Global Warming and Climate Change, 5 groups will support the different opinion with trainers, with arguments and preparing a representation in A2 papers. Also they will represent their work to all of them with discussion.

Calculate your carbon footprint

Calculate your average carbon footprint of each of the participants of each organization.  Group of 10 persons of each organization calculating the carbon footprint (average). We need at least one computer for each organization. Participants must have their carbon Footprint printed. Group Work: each organization group will have the opportunity to prepared so to tell us about how Global Warming and Climate Change reflection in their country, problems and examples.

Discussion about the problems of Global Warming in each country who participate (approximately 15 minutes for each group). Represantation of the posters that are made in each organisation.

Group Work: Photo Contest: Taking Photos of the physical environmental near the Camp. Each group will take the nature trail Caledonia (with 30 minutes difference in time) and will take photos about nature (birds and animals, plants and trees, everything about river)  in Troodos, Cyprus.

Caledonia Nature Path

Starting point: About 700m from the road between Troodos and Platres near the President's summer residence. Also accessible via a forest road which begins at the tourist road 2 kms from the Square.
Length: 3 km - Duration: 1.5 hours – Degree of difficulty: 3
Points of interest: The trail follows a course along Kryos Potamos river, which never runs dry. It passes the Kalidonia Falls and ends at Psilo Dendro, in Pano Platres.

Game activity: Participants consider the variety of different energy options available to communities living on Moja Island and select the most appropriate technology. Renewable energy fact cards, a map of the island, and information on the different communities and their needs are all resources designed to help them.

Discussion activity which will reinforce students' understanding of renewable energy sources, after they play the game in previous activity.

Front Page 1: From Local to Global

Group Activities: How individual environmental problems of each country became a single common problem known as Global Warming. Reflection time of what we have done in previous days. 7 groups random groups. Each group will try to make the front page of a newspaper and to show with this how local problem become Global problem with climate changes.

Overview In this activity, people brainstorm links in a global food web. They explore:

  • The inevitable impact of all human activity on the environment, and the consequences.
